Choice Nugs: Nighttime/Anytime, Sub-Domestic, Tank Commander
This one was a pretty easy choice for me. Some of Bry Webb's strongest song writing. Only downfall is the Steve Lambke song.

2. Saves The Day - In Reverie
Choice Nugs: Rise, In Reverie, Driving in The Dark
I feel that this album was the transition that Saves The Day wanted to make. Unfortunately, they couldn't repeat it on following albums, but at least we'll always have 'In Reverie'.

3. Jay-Z - The Black Album
Choice Nugs: December 4th, 99 Problems, Lucifer
The best at his prime.

4. The Unicorns - Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone?
Choice Nugs: Sea Ghost, Tuff Luff
So much on here. The album transitions smoothly through the songs, but the songs themselves are very different from each other.

5. Black Keys - Thickfreakness
Choice Nugs: Thickfreakness, Hold Me In Your Arms
Recordings aren't clean, but the songs are all good.

6. White Stripes - Elephant
Choice Nugs: Black Math, Ball and Biscuit
Some pretty radio-friendly hits on this one, but the album as a whole goes in a few different directions. A few songs I'd skip through, but a pretty strong listen through.

7. Postal Service - Give Up
Choice Nug: Against All Odds
Lots of great songs on here. Doesn't hold up like it did in 2003, but it was ahead of it's time. Also paved way for that awesome Shins cover of 'We Will Become Silhouettes'.

8. Ryan Adams - Love Is Hell 1 & 2
Choice Nugs: Love Is Hell, Afraid Not Scared
SAD. He put out a few duds after 'Heartbreaker', and most consider this album to be a dud as well, but I like it.

9. Songs: Ohia - The Magnolia Electric Co.
Choice Nugs: Hold On Magnolia, Farewell Transmission
Probably Jason Molina's most accessible album. Big creative jump from earlier Songs: Ohia work.

10. Alicia Keys - The Diary of Alicia Keys
Choice Nugs: If I Ain't Got You, You Don't Know My Name
Talk about 'break-out'. Hard not to see the future of Alicia Keys after hearing this record. It's not super strong front-to-back, but the single 'If I Ain't Got You' is a clear indicator of her coming success.

That Shins cover is better than the original for sure, and still in my rotation.
